Are you in the building industry? Architects, designers, landscapers and general contractors sales can all benefit from the addition of an outdoor fireplace from theOSE. The modular design makes our product a great upsell appliance to any outdoor space and requires no specialized skills to install.
Do you supply the building industry? Landscape supply yards, lumber yards, brick and tile companies, pool and spa or even sauna companies can benefit from the addition of an outdoor fireplace unit on their location. Draw customers into the lot with a unique display. Offer them as an upsell to your contractors.
Whatever your involvement in the world of outdoor living, you can be a reseller for products manufactured by Old School Enterprises.
Once you are ready to start the journey to becoming a Reseller or Dealer, fill in the registration form and submit it. An account will be created and someone from our staff will contact you to talk about the next step. Once you’ve been approved, you will gain access to this Dealer Portal containing the tools you will need to quote and sell fireplaces.
Reseller
Resellers enjoy minimal requirements and initial investments to begin. The Reseller is not afforded any exclusivity of region and are not provided with leads from the Manufacturer. So, they are not required to invest up front. Also there are no sales quotas past the second sale. Resellers may sell as little a 1 unit per season. Agreements will automatically expire after 4 consecutive quarters without a sale.
To become a Reseller you must demonstrate a basic understanding of the product and how to quote for it. Wholesale pricing applies once you have purchased two or more of our outdoor fireplace units. The first unit is priced at retail or factory direct pricing. The second and subsequent purchases for resale are priced using the wholesale pricing guide. Each fireplace is cast and finished for an individual customer and the Reseller does not maintain any stock.
Fitment with our branding is essential, as we are a family friendly company. Resellers are required to maintain a wholesome public profile.
Dealer
To become a dealer you must be operating a valid business location, demonstrate a basic understanding of the product and how to quote for it. In addition you must purchase for display at least two of our outdoor fireplace units for the duration of the agreement to allow potential customers to come and see; touch and experience the magnitude of the appliance. As a registered dealer every fireplace is priced using the Wholesale Pricing Guide.
The benefits of becoming a dealer include:
- exclusive dealership territory of a specified radius from your business location;
- forwarding of leads received by theOSE or Flare Fires Canada that fall in your territory;
- exclusive host location of ‘Demonstration Days’ by theOSE or Flare Fires Canada.
Responsibilities for Resellers and Dealers
All dealers are expected to aid the customer in finding the right configuration of Outdoor Fireplace for their location. Basic configurations are enhanced by custom arrangements and one-off modifications per each customer's needs. Dealers will be responsible to work with the customer to determine what best suits the outdoor space, educate the customer on the purchase process and file a quote request with theOSE.
The dealer is responsible to ensure the customer has considered installation service requirements and aided the customer in acquiring a suitable contractor for installation. Lastly, the dealer is to ensure that the customer has successfully received their order and may need to assist the customer with final delivery options if the customer cannot receive the shipment at the destination address.
In addition to the sale, resellers may choose to provide installation services. This is a cost plus service and is not included in the MSRP. Installations generally range from 3 to 5 hours. Installation training can be provided at the factory show yard at no charge when pre-arranged. Excessive installation fees charged by a reseller will not be tolerated and are grounds for terminating their reseller agreement.
